Thought I'd ask a quick question. Recently I've been advertising my online store and been doing some advertising.

I would like to hear your views on what im doing....do you think im acting a bit unethically and ruthlessly, or is that just business?

:arrow: Firstly, I have located all my competitors advertising and have placed my ads, offering better deals, next to his.

:arrow: Secondly, he put an auction up, and some questions were asked asking for a buy now price. I waited for him to place his buy-now auction, then immediatly placed mine beneath his, but with a cheaper buy-now price.

I can imagine he is rather ****ed at me now, but do you think doing this was wrong?. To be honest, I think he is ripping of his customers with his prices, and im just offering the same products, alot cheaper.

Thoughts?

what you are doing is very agressive - but not unethical

always be cognizant of what price cutting does to the market as a whole though.

I think its a really good way to do it because your being good to his customers buy giving them cheaper prices and good to yours by having cheep prices in the first place
